Gladiolus 'My Love'

Almost hand-painted in appearance, Gladiolus 'My Love' has striking, icy white flowers streaked with raspberry pink around their edges. This variety is particularly brilliant for lifting pink-heavy planting schemes with bold, luminous, vertical accents. Reaching up to 1.4m in height, weave this beauty throughout the back of a border. Consider pairing Gladiolus 'My Love'  with a pure white variety such as Gladiolus 'Essential' to highlight the pink detailing. Exquisite!  

Gladiolus 'My Love' is super easy to grow, though hailing from warmer climes than ours it does tend to need a little help to get through the winter. If your winters are cold and wet, your best bet is to lift and store corms somewhere dry and protected (such as a shed, greenhouse etc.). If you live in a warmer, more southerly region or have particularly well-draining soil, you may well get away with leaving the Gladiolus 'My Love' corms in the ground with an insulating layer of mulch.
